Diana Mojahed received her PhD in Biomedical Engineering from Columbia in 2021 on developing novel optical tools and artificial intelligence for improving the care of breast cancer. She received her MS in Biomedical Engineering from Columbia in 2018.

Diana has always been passionate about connecting with her Arab roots, and is excited to support and foster the CAAA community. Fun fact: you will typically find Diana listening and dancing to Arabic music, everything ranging from classics like ‘Betwanes Beek’ to newer hip Arab trap/rap while she is working in the lab. 

Diana is Lebanese-American and was born and raised in Boston, MA.
