Rahma Elsiesy is an Egyptian clinical analyst based in New York City and the co-founder of the Columbia Arab Alumni Association. Rahma was awarded a BA in Biochemistry from Barnard College in 2020. During her time as an undergraduate student, she was president of CU Turath, a mentor in the Columbia Mentoring Initiative, a peer educator at Peer Health Exchange, a volunteer for the Columbia Global Medical Brigades, and a nanobioengineering and bio-inorganic chemistry researcher. She was awarded the 2020 American Institute of Chemists (AIC) Biochemistry Award as well as Barnard Chemistry Departmental Honors Award.
Rahma currently works as a Clinical Application Analyst in the Population Health Department at BronxCare Health Systems to develop outpatient initiatives aimed to improve the health of Bronx residents.
